Iceland Loop is a web-based trip planning tool that helps users plan road trips in Iceland. The Service provides route suggestions, points of interest, distance calculations, and travel time estimates. The Service is provided for informational and planning purposes only.

In no event shall Iceland Loop, its owners, operators, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for:

• Personal injury or property damage during travel
• Vehicle damage due to road conditions
• Missed reservations or bookings
• Delays or changes to travel plans
• Reliance on information provided by the Service

As a user of Iceland Loop, you agree to:

• Check official road and weather conditions before traveling
• Use appropriate vehicles for your planned routes (e.g., 4x4 for F-roads)
• Follow all local laws and regulations
• Practice responsible and sustainable tourism
• Not rely solely on this Service for travel decisions
• Provide accurate information when creating an account

If you create an account with us:

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You may not share your account with others
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Iceland Loop and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Our Service uses third-party services including Google Maps, Google Fonts, Google Analytics (only with your consent), Supabase and Cloudflare — see our Privacy Policy for what each one does. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party services.

Some links to travel services are affiliate links: if you book through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes what we recommend, and it never changes the price you pay. The partners are Northbound (car and campervan rental), Stay22 (accommodation, which forwards you to Booking.com, Expedia, Vrbo or Hotels.com) and GetYourGuide (tours and experiences). Pages carrying such links say so on the page.

eSIMpass is not an affiliate. We recommend it, we know the people who run it, and we earn nothing if you buy — there is no programme and no commission. We say so rather than leave it unsaid.

Bookings are contracts between you and the provider. We are not a party to them and we are not responsible for their service, their prices, or their cancellation terms — see section 8, which applies to these providers as it does to any other third party.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
